DELAHEY RECREATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

A spacious reserve that covers a lot of ground: a diverse, well-maintained playground suited to a wide age range, a skate park, a large oval popular with dog walkers, and outdoor gym stations dotted around the perimeter walking circuit, each with a plate explaining how to use it. Some of the machines are more useful than others, but the circuit adds up to a decent workout. There is plenty of seating and the facilities are kept clean, with room to spread out for a picnic while children play. The local community clearly takes care of it. More bins around the grounds would not go astray.
